2024 Annual Meeting to be held on Wednesday ,October 23, at the Blush Hill Country Club in Waterbury VT. Social time begins at 5:30, meeting underway at 6:15. Admission is free to the public, and all are welcome to join us for this memorable event! Donations to the FWR are always welcome.
Special Guest Speaker! Kurt J. Valenta, presenting "The Beaver - Nature's Superb Engineer" (and often seen residents of the Waterbury Reservoir!)
Kurt will give us “a look at the historical significance the beaver had in the exploration and mapping of North America. Their unique adaptations allows them to survive year-round in a habitat of their own making. The ecosystem that is created supports a diversity of wildlife while also playing a major role in flood control and environmental rejuvenation.”
