2025 Lake Clean With Darn Tough

June 6th, Sheila from our board teamed up with enthusiastic volunteers from Darn Tough to lead another successful cleanup of Waterbury Reservoir’s water, shorelines, and trails! Umiak Outdoor Outfitters generously provided boats for those who needed them, while Vermont State Parks Ranger Ben Foltin offered valuable guidance on cleanup locations and provided on-water support. This cooperative effort showcased how non-profits, local businesses, and community members can work together to benefit our environment, as evidenced by the wildlife we spotted along the way—highlighting how these efforts help both animals and the people who enjoy this beautiful lake. A big thank you to everyone who volunteered and participated in making this event a success!
