2025 Loon Nest

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Rangers Ben and Patrick, whose expertise and hard work were instrumental, along with the invaluable support and muscle power provided by Eloise and Eric from VCE, our loon raft has been successfully installed and is now in place on the water. We are also preparing to put up warning signs to remind paddlers and boaters to keep a respectful distance, ensuring the loons feel safe and undisturbed. This collaborative effort reflects our shared commitment to protecting these beautiful and vulnerable birds, and we are hopeful that this year, they will choose to nest, contributing to the preservation of their population and the health of our local ecosystem.
